Here’s how we’ll help you find your next home:

#1 Let’s Meet

For our first meeting, we can get together at your home, our office, or at a local coffee shop. During this time, we’ll have the chance to get to know each other, answer any of your questions, and review the home-buying process with you.

#2 Getting Pre-Approved

If you aren’t already, now is the time to get pre-approved for a mortgage. If you’re not connected with a mortgage advisor, we can recommend one for you. They’ll determine your pre-approval rating and budget by reviewing your income, credit, debts, goals, and other factors. Once you have that, we’ll have a clear idea of how much house you can afford.

#3 What Do You Really Need?

As a buyer, it’s easy to get caught up in what you really need vs what you want. When searching for your next home, keep your eye on the basics: size matters, but the home’s layout and potential usually matters more. Of course, you should take into consideration the neighborhood, type of property, number of bedrooms, school district, etc., but seeing the home for what it can become–not just what it is–is a great way to find your next home.

#4 Seeing Your Options

Now let’s get to the exciting part: seeing properties! As we go through each home, we’ll take a critical look at the features, potential issues, and notable aspects of each. Not familiar with the area? We’re well-versed in many of Greater Greenville’s top neighborhoods and can show you around to determine if it will be a good fit for you.

#5 Analyzing the Price

When you’ve found a home you’re interested in, we’ll complete a Comparative Market Analysis to see if the list price matches with the true value of the home. You’ll see a side-by-side comparison of properties, and will get a better understanding of the pricing. We can also show you how much you’ll be paying per month, what kind of return on investment you can see in the future, and more.

#6 Offers and Negotiations

Once you’re ready to make an offer, we’ll explain the strongest negotiation strategy and negotiate the price, terms, and conditions on your behalf. How we approach this process will depend on whether we have an offer deadline or if the seller is accepting them at any time. We’ll explain every detail of the offer to you so you feel confident in your decisions.

#7 Pre-Cleaning and Celebrating

Congrats, you just bought a house–let’s pop a bottle of champagne and celebrate! Before you move in, we’ll also coordinate a pre-cleaning service to clean your new home, because a spotless house is the perfect canvas for you to make it your own.

#8 We’re Not Done Yet!
